GRAND TOUR

 

Con il termine Grand Tour ci si riferisce al viaggio di istruzione e di formazione in Italia che, principalmente tra Sette e Ottocento, ha visto coinvolte le èlite ed artisti europei.
Viaggiavano alla riscoperta di antiche bellezze storiche, spesso architettoniche.
In questa serie lo spettatore può rivivere le stesse emozioni grazie ad una realizzazione tecnica che mi permette di fotografare degli interni in tutta la loro grandezza,seppur in spazi di manovra ridotti.
Non solo un “Grand tour” ma anche una “Grand view”.

 

The term Grand Tour refers to the training trip to Italy which, between 1700 and 1800, involved the èlites and European artists.
They traveled to rediscover ancient historical, often architectural, beauties.
Here the viewer can relive the same emotions, with these abandoned Italian beauties, thanks to a technical realization that allows me to shot the interiors in all their grandeur, albeit in reduced spaces for maneuver.
Not just a “Grand tour” but also a …”Grand view”.
